This feature is based on a configurable FTP connection from the "Manage Users" page. It allows you to import data via a remote file in a scheduled and automated manner. Administrators can:

  • Update data in real-time

  • Run simulations before execution

  • Monitor and track the connection status

2. Initial Setup

Access the User Management Page

  • Log in to the platform as a super administrator.

  • Go to the "Manage Users" page.

  • Click on the Automation button.

Configure the FTP Connection

  • Fill in the essential information using the FTP configuration form, including:

    • Host (FTP server address).

    • Directory where the file is located on the server.

    • File containing the user data.

  • Click on Save to validate the configuration.

3. Connection Monitoring and Management

Track Connection Status

  • Go to the Status Page to monitor the FTP connection status.

  • Check the possible statuses:

    • Active: The connection is operational.

    • Suspended: The connection is on hold.

Available Actions

  • Edit FTP settings (host, port, directory, file...).

  • Suspend the connection to pause automatic updates.

  • Resume the connection to restart the process.

4. Update and Simulation

Run an Update

  • Click on the Update Now button.

  • The system applies the changes directly to the user database.

  • A detailed report is sent by email

Run a Simulation

  • Click on the Run Simulation button.

  • This option allows you to test the update without modifying the user database.

  • A detailed report is sent by email, showing potential changes.

Action Availability

  • Actions can be triggered even if the FTP connection is suspended.

🎉 Congratulations! You now know how to configure and automate your user database updates via FTP.
