The news feed is a real exchange space. It allows you to accelerate the feedback from the field, to share best practices and to encourage and reward video testimonials of the best performances.
It considerably reduces the number of e-mails and creates a real community to grow the team spirit around your corporate values.
How to create your discussion group??
Click on the "New" button
Choose the "Group" tab
Then click on "Create".
You will then be taken to a page where you can:
Enter the name of your news feed
The administrators in charge of the management and animation
The degree of accessibility to this space
Public mode (default): accessible by all members of the organization
Private mode: only accessible by a small group of users, but visible to everyone in the list of spaces. Other users can request access.
Secret mode: only accessible by a small group of users and hidden from others.
Once you are done, click on "Create".
Your news feed is now created. You will be able to post messages or content (How do I publish a post?):
And add members:
Finally, to go from one news feed to another: click on the "News Feed List" tab from the home page (see: How do I access the different discussion groups?).
Editing a discussion group
Want to change the name, administrators, or privacy level of a group? Here's how 👇
Go to the group you want to edit (click on the "Group List" tab from the home page)
Click on the "edit group" button at the top right of your screen
Modify the information you want.
Don't forget to click on "save information" at the bottom right of your screen.
Delete or archive a discussion group
You want to delete or archive a discussion group. Here's how to do it 👇
If you want to sort through your discussion groups, we always advise archiving rather than deleting. Indeed, by archiving, users will no longer have access to it, but if you want to retrieve information from it later or simply unarchive it, it will be possible. The deletion is final.
Go to the group you want to archive/delete (click on the "Groups list" tab from the home page)
Click on the 3 dots at the top right of your screen.
Click on "archive" or "delete group".
To unarchive a discussion group:
Go to "list of groups" from the home page.
Click on "archived".
Here you will find all the archived newsgroups.
Click on the one you want to unarchive.
Click on the 3 dots on the top right, then on "unarchive".
