On Incenteev, Coaching is made up of 2 key components that work together.
Coaching sessions are the One on One conversations between managers and coachee.
Action Plan or Missions are specific activities that a coachee can do to improve. They are set at the end of each meeting, they align on action and allow to follow qualitative and quantitative improvements in time.
Coaching sessions
A coaching session represents the One on One conversation between manager and coachee.
Only a manager can schedule a coaching session by clicking “ Schedule a coaching session” button.
Each coaching session is based on a template. A template is a collection of questions that has been defined at the organizational level and that can be personalised by the manager.
A good coaching session has 3 important parts:
a preparation stage before
an agenda to structure the conversation
an action plan at the end
After coaching session has been scheduled the coachee receives an email to prepare for the meeting. Coachee can read the agenda items, fill in their answers and submit them before the physical meeting. Manager can also add their answers in advance or during the conversation.
Missions
Missions are specific activities that a coachee can do to improve and achieve goals. A manager can create a mission for his coachee and for himself. A coachee can also create a mission for himself.
A mission can be simple or connected to a sales metric.
Few examples of actions that you can apply to a mission:
mark a mission as done or not done
reopen a mission
update result
edit

Action Plan
An Action Plan is a collection of Missions that are set during the coaching sessions. These missions ensure the coachee is aligned on action and allow to follow qualitative and quantitative improvements in time.
Each coaching session has its own Action Plan.
During the meeting the manager and coachee mark the mission from previous meeting as done or not done.
After doing this, they can add new missions that constitute the current action plan.
