Once you've accessed the evaluation topics configuration page, you will have the possibility to create evaluation topics.

What is an evaluation topic?
An evaluation topic is a theme that you want to evaluate on a certain population of the platform. It is composed by only a title but will be associated to some objects with a parental relation. These objects can be :
either one or several other topics.
either one or several evaluation criteria. [Ajouter le lien des critères]
It will also contain one score by person after the first time it has been evaluated. This score is calculated as follows :
The average of the sub-topics scores associated.
The average of the criteria associated.
How to add a new evaluation topic?
1) If you want to create a new topic:
Click on the up right button "Add an evaluation topic".
Add the new topic's name.
🧐 Try to choose clear but concise names: this will allow a better final visualization of the results.
2) If you have already some existing topics and you want to create a new sub-topic ( a topic that is included in another one), you have two possibilities:
Click on that same button "Add an evaluation topic", but this time add a "parent topic".
Or:
In the list of the parent topics, hover your mouse over the one you are interested in. Clic on the "+" that appears at its right to add a sub-topic and enter the topic name.
🧐 A topic that already has evaluation criteria cannot have associated any child topic.
How to edit an evaluation topic?
Next to the topic name, click on the edit icon (a pen).
You have the possibility to edit the topic's name and its parent topic. This allows to edit the location of the topic and its children (sub-topic and criteria) within the hierarchy.
How to delete an evaluation topic?
Next to the topic name, click on the delete icon (a trash).
🧐 You can't delete a topic that contains sub-topics.
⚠️ The deleting of a topic involves the deleting of all its associated criteria.
Congratulation, you have created your first evaluation topic!
