Indicators show score progression over time. They allow you to follow performance and to know where everyone is at. So, it is important to keep indicators updated and tell users until when scores are updated.
The last result date corresponds to the date until when data is up to date. Thus, the linked indicator scores are kept updated until then.
Depending on the data update configuration, your Incenteev platform suggests several settings that allow you to define the last result date. By default, the last result date matches the most recent date that a result owner has a score for. This default value is used if none of the following options are configured:
For the manual upload, it is possible to fill-in the last result date when doing the import. Thus, this date will be used for all indicators linked to that dataset.
For the automatic updates: during the configuration of the update mode, it is possible to configure how the last result date is defined. Several options are available:
The most recent date from a specific field: all indicators linked to that dataset will use that field as a last result date field.
The update date: you can also use the last result date based on when the dataset update is done. You can choose the same day, the day before the update, the week before the update or the month before the update depending on what matches your context best.
For Salesforce: we obtain all targeted data available at the update date. So, the last result date corresponds to the last synchronization date between Salesforce and Incenteev.
