All about coaching analytics
Updated over a week ago

As a manager, you can follow the coaching session activities you have with your coachees. If your team also has coachees, you can follow their analytics as well.

This second feature is particularly useful to assist your managers in their coach role.

Here is all you need to know about it 👇

How to access coaching analytics ?

  • Go to the “Coaching” part on the left-hand menu.

  • Click on the analytics icon in the top right-hand corner (or on the three dots, then on “Analytics”).

Here you are !

Understanding the distinction between coaching received and coaching given

On this page, if your coachees also have their own coachees, you can choose between two different views : coaching received and coaching given.

1° By default, you get the “coaching received” view when first arriving on the page : it shows the coaching sessions received by your coachees.

2° The “coaching given” view shows the coaching sessions your coachees have given to their own coachees.

You have the same indicators (see next point) for both views, with in addition the number of coaches for each person for “coaching given”.

To get more precision, you can use the filter “Coachees of” : uncheck your own profile and select the one you are interested in. By returning on the view "coaching received", you will see the details of that manager with each of his coachees.

Understanding the indicators shown

Three indicators are used on the “Analytics” page:

  1. The number of validated sessions.

  2. The number of missions assigned to the coachees.

  3. The average time between two sessions.

Note: The indicators used are calculated according to a period of time. It is one year by default, but you can configure it as you want by clicking on the calendar icon or on the date on the top right-hand corner. When selecting the start date, you cannot choose a date before the platform creation.

There are three boxes on the top of the page : they correspond to the aggregation of individual indicators over the given period.

-> For the validated sessions, it is the sum of all validated sessions.

-> For the assigned missions, it is the sum of all assigned missions.

-> For the average time between two sessions, it is the average of each individual average time between two sessions.

(For an individual, the average time between two sessions is calculated by dividing the number of days in the period of time by the number of sessions made during this period.)

Below that, you will find the same metrics, but for each person.

  • Note:
A "pair activation date" is set between each coach and coachee. It is determined by the most recent date between:

    • the coach profile activation;

    • the coachee profile activation.

In the case where the pair activation date is more recent than the selected period (for instance, if the studied period is from January 1st 2021 to December 31st 2022, but the coachee arrived in the company only on March 20th), the average time between two sessions will be calculated the same way, but the start date will be the pair activation one.

Good to know: deactivate or reactivate a profile does not update the pair activation date.

Understanding the filter system

On this “Analytics” page interface, you can filter the data in many ways:

  • Template: filter by the chosen session template.

  • Hierarchical levels: filter the users by their hierarchical level.

  • Hierarchical roles: filter the users by their hierarchical role.

  • Coachees of: show only the subordinates of the individual chosen.

  • Members: show only specific individuals.

  • From teams: filter by the teams that exist in your organization.

For information, the “Coachees of” filter is activated by default when you arrive on the page, with your profile selected. Thus, you see your own coachees.

You can also combine as many filters as you want.

See you soon on Incenteev! 😊
