The Incenteev hierarchy helps the platform understand better how your company is organized.

It will allow you to establish subordinate links between divisions, to link the collaborators to the right teams, and to simplify access to the different spaces (newsfeed, dashboard, challenges...)

A well-established hierarchy on your platform is a prerequisite for a successful Incenteev experience for you, as for your team !

The composition includes hierarchical levels and roles (What is a hierarchy on Incenteev ?)

In this article, we are going to show you how to create, modify, delete or archive a level on your hierarchy, directly from your Incenteev platform.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Summary :

I. How to create a hierarchical level ?

II. How to modify a hierarchical level ?

III. How to delete or archive a hierarchical level ?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

First, you have to go to the right space in order to do these actions. Here is the path to follow :

  • Settings

  • Organization Administration

  • Manage Hierarchy

I. How to create a hierarchical level ?

Click on the "Create a hierarchical level" button

You will then be brought to the page displayed below where you will have to enter the informations related to the blank fields, alongside its subordination link to the other levels.

Here are the blank fields to consider :

  • Name of the hierarchical level : That is the name of the level (ex : national management, headquarters, etc.)

  • Team name of this hierarchical level : The name of the team that refers to all the hierarchical roles in this level and their subordinate hierarchical roles.

  • Identifier : This is the name that you will use on your hierarchical import file (How to build the hierarchy file ?) to do multiple actions on your hierarchy at the same time. The default entry is using the words from the name of the level in lower cases with "-" to replace the spaces.

  • Allow roles in this hierarchical level to have a fun name for their team : If the roles of a level have a "fun" team name, it will be put before the name of the team on the rankings or dashboards.

  • Force role identifiers in this hierarchical level to be SIRET numbers : This will make it mandatory for the role within the level to be SIRET numbers (ID system of classification for companies).

  • Scroll-down menu : allows you to define to which level the one that you are creating will be subordinated to.

  • "Mandatory" box : make it mandatory for the roles creating within this hierarchical level to have a superior level.

  • "Add a superior level" button : the possibility to choose another superior level.

II. How to modify a hierarchical level ?

Click on the icon "edit" on the hierarchical level :

On the "Edit the Hierarchical Level "XXX" page, you can modify :

  • The name of the hierarchical level : the one that will be displayed on your browser

  • The Team Name of this Hierarchical Level : the name of the team including this level and role alongside its subordinates.

  • The Identifier : the one that you will use on your hierarchy file

  • Allow roles in this hierarchical level to have a fun name for their team

  • Force role identifiers in this hierarchical level to be SIRET numbers

  • The superior hierarchical levels : to define the subordinate links between the different levels

You can add superior hierarchical level with the scroll-down menu, and delete them with the bin icon.

III. How to delete or archive a hierarchical level ?

To delete a level, you must click on the bin icon, on the right low corner of the box.

To archive it, click on the little box :

That's it ! Please know that you can also manage all those actions by importing an Excel file (How do I build the hierarchy file ?).

We hope that this article was helpful, and we hope to see you very soon on your Incenteev platform !
