A segmentation makes it possible to group hierarchical roles into different sub-groups within the same hierarchical level.
This makes it possible to define challenge rules (objective, ranking) specific to each segment.
Example: Several point of sales do not have the same sales potential and are therefore separated into different segments, it is then possible to give these segments different objectives.
To create a segmentation, you have to go to :
Settings
Organization Administration
Manage Hierarchy
Then click on the segmentation of the level to be segmented (icon on the left side in the bottom of the level's box).
On the page of creation and edition of the segments you will be able to create:
A segmentation by clicking on "Create a segmentation".
A segment by clicking on "Create segment"
Once these segments are created, you can attach a hierarchical role to its segment from your hierarchy file or directly from the role edit page with it's name, picture, superiors and segments. Click on "Save" at the end of the page when you're done.
