A segmentation makes it possible to group hierarchical roles into different sub-groups within the same hierarchical level.
This makes it possible to define challenge rules (objective, ranking) specific to each segment.
Example: Several point of sales do not have the same sales potential and are therefore separated into different segments, it is then possible to give these segments different objectives.
To create a segmentation, you have to go to :
Settings
Organization Administration
Manage Hierarchy
Then click on the segmentation of the level to be segmented :
On the page of creation and edition of the segments you will be able to create:
A segmentation by clicking on "Create a segmentation".
A segment by clicking on "Create segment"
Once these segments are created, you can attach a hierarchical role to its segment from your hierarchy file or directly from the role edit page :
